I would like to request enhancements to the template and document formatting capabilities in Palm-Tech.
Currently, when editing templates, I can create headings, numbering, and indentation that appear correctly within the template editor. However, these formatting features do not carry over consistently to the final published document.
For example, when preparing inspection agreements and other professional documents, I often need a hierarchical numbering structure such as:
1.0 General Terms
A. Scope of Inspection
B. Limitations
2.0 Client Responsibilities
I. Access to Property
II. Utilities
At present, Palm-Tech appears to support only basic numbering and does not provide options for alphabetic (A, B, C) or Roman numeral (I, II, III) lists. Additionally, indentation visible in the template editor does not appear properly in the generated report or agreement.
These formatting capabilities are important for creating professional inspection agreements, contracts, and custom narratives that comply with state requirements and company standards. The ability to maintain heading levels, indentation, numbered lists, alphabetic lists, and Roman numeral lists in the published document would significantly improve document readability and professionalism.
Requested enhancements:
Support for multi-level numbering (1.0, 1.1, 1.1.1, etc.).
Support for alphabetic lists (A, B, C).
Support for Roman numeral lists (I, II, III).
Preservation of indentation and paragraph formatting from the template editor to the published document.
Additional text formatting controls similar to those available in standard word-processing software.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.
